Is Caldwell worth it salary-wise?

Anyone else feel this way? Been living here since 2014. Median household income is $66,663, which feels about average for the area. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I wrong here?

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 7 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Came here for family and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The nightlife is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
