Been meaning to ask this. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -Caledonia sits at 83.6 per 100K. Homes are going for about $279,400 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Should I be concerned? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up.
