I'm a teacher here and Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $1,805 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've lived in Greenfield for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The housing market scene is hit or miss
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Can feel isolated
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a writer who relocated here from Denver about 11 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Diverse dining options
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Summers can be brutally hot
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is underrated.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Strong sense of community
- The cultural scene scene is challenging
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Far from beaches/mountains
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
