Day-to-day life in Callaway, FL

Anyone else feel this way? Average temperature is around 70--F, so the weather is moderate. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What would you do? Cheers. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in South. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in construction. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

I work in construction here and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Hope this helps!.

Bought a house here in 2018 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
