Job market in Camas for tech?

OK so I relocated for work and It's a a smaller city city with about 26,779 people. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $656,100, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 4.1%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Denver about 7 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is solid.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth checking out..
