Hey, I work in logistics and Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Cambridge sits at 278.6 per 100K. It's a a mid-size city city with about 118K people. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Any advice would be great. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a sales manager who relocated here from LA about 2 years ago. The main reasons were weather and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Active local events and festivals
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are manageable, gas is improving.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The safety is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..
