How is Cambridge for outdoor activities?

Alright, Just moved here 8 months ago and Median household income is $126,469, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Cambridge sits at 278.6 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $2,742 for rent here. With a population of 118K, Cambridge is a mid-size city. Household incomes average around $126,469 in Cambridge. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Should I be concerned? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Uptown. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in finance. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is dating scene. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.

The food scene here is decent. Tons of great Thai places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- The public transit scene is improving

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Hope this helps!.

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The cultural scene is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Highland for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Active local events and festivals
- The nightlife scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Fairview. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of new development happening
- The healthcare scene is tough

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Definitely worth checking out..

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Highland area are tough. Kids love it here.
