Working remotely from Cambridge — my experience
I've been working remotely from Cambridge for 11 years now. Here's my take:
The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.
Cost of living: pretty reasonable
Internet: Could be better but workable with a good provider
Coworking spaces: A few good ones downtown
If you're looking for a place to WFH, Cambridge is worth considering.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

If you can afford it, Cedar Hills is the best place to live. Period.

Coming from Miami, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are about the same.

Check out the Riverside area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

Don't sleep on Lakewood. It's up and coming and still affordable.
