Random thought, We're a young couple and Crime rate is something to consider -Camden sits at 1,052.0 per 100K. Rent is about $704/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 12.5%, which is around average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great sushi places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
