Weekend activities in Cameron Park?

Curious what people think. With a population of 17,283, Cameron Park is a small town. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Raleigh about 3 years ago. The main reasons were school and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are competitive, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Definitely worth checking out..
