Affordable areas near Camp Springs?

With a population of 22,174, Camp Springs is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Camp Springs sits at 386.5 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 22,174 people. Homes are going for about $379,500 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in The Heights. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
