Best kept secrets of Camp Verde, AZ

We're a young couple and With a population of 12,282, Camp Verde is a small town. Poverty rate is 16.5%, which is higher than I expected. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Should I be concerned? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much wild but now it's challenging.
