Honest thoughts on life in Campbell

Alright, My partner and I are Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $2,751/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Let me know your thoughts. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Springfield. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
