I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider -Campbell sits at 208.5 per 100K. With a population of 42,848, Campbell is a smaller city. The weather takes some getting used to. Am I wrong here? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I work in manufacturing here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is solid. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value job market, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely better than expected and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (Downtown) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from San Francisco, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
