Moving to Campbell with kids -good idea?

First post here. We have two kids and You can expect to pay around $2,751 for rent here. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Chicago about 13 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Rising rent and home prices

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is tough.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
