Hi all, Just moved here 15 months ago and You can expect to pay around $1,442 for rent here. Poverty rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $100,268 in Canby. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Good healthcare facilities
- Active local events
Cons:
- Hot summers
- High property taxes
- Poor road conditions
- Not enough green space
I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
