Is Canton still affordable?

So, Been living here since 2006. Poverty rate is 6.7%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Canton sits at 143.2 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Does this match your experience? Thanks in advance!

Bought a house here in 2022 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Boston it's pretty good.
