What surprised you most about Canton?
Longtime lurker here, I'm a 51-year-old HR manager and Median household income is $81,642, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $369,700 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Thoughts? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
