Canton housing prices -when will it stop?

I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Homes are going for about $111,800 on average. The median home value here is around $111,800, which is actually reasonable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Should I be concerned?

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value outdoor recreation, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Limited shopping options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Eastside. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in education. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Thai.

No regrets on my end..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is dating scene. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.
