Moving to Canton for work -advice?

OK so Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I overthinking this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Baltimore about 12 years ago. The main reasons were work and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Four distinct seasons
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is tough.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. No regrets on my end..

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.
