Thinking about relocating to Canton from Austin

Hey, I'm a teacher here and The unemployment rate is 4.5%, which is about average. Household incomes average around $39,754 in Canton. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Has anyone dealt with this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.
