What surprised you most about Canyon Creek?
First post here. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $1,701/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,701 for rent here. Homes are going for about $392,400 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Thoughts? Thanks in advance! The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
