How is the nightlife in Canyon Lake?

Hi all, You can expect to pay around $2,524 for rent here. Median household income is $124,948, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 4.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $647,300 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Miami about 3 years ago. The main reasons were family and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is decent.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Used to live on the Downtown side, now on the Lakewood side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
