Working remotely from Canyon Lake

First post here. Just moved here 10 months ago and Homes are going for about $337,200 on average. Poverty rate is 4.3%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 32,924 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I wrong here? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
