What I wish I knew before living in Cape Canaveral

Hey everyone, I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider -Cape Canaveral sits at 846.0 per 100K. Household incomes average around $70,585 in Cape Canaveral. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Is this normal for Cape Canaveral? The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 12 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
