Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $1,156/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $323,900 on average. It's a a small town city with about 9,976 people. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Thoughts? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
