Couple moving to Carlsbad from out of state

First post here. You can expect to pay around $2,678 for rent here. Household incomes average around $139,326 in Carlsbad. The median home value here is around $1,156,900, which is pretty steep. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Should I be concerned? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Bought a house here in 2019 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if food scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The cost of living is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great seafood places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.
