Healthcare options in Carlsbad?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but We're a young couple and Rent is about $2,678/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great Vietnamese places. the quality of life is solid.

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in North area are improving. Kids love it here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from San Francisco about 6 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are stable, gas is underrated.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
