First time home buyer in Carlstadt
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Any help is appreciated.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Nashville about 3 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and a fresh start.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are developing, gas is average.
Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. No regrets on my end..
