Best neighborhoods in Carmel for families?

We have two kids (2 and 7) and are looking for a family-friendly neighborhood in Carmel. Budget is around $1607/month for rent. We prioritize good schools and safety. Any recommendations?

Also, are there good parks and activities for kids in the area?

Weather is the biggest factor for us. Four seasons are nice, not too extreme either way.
