I'm a remote worker and Poverty rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,607 for rent here. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Fairview. It's challenging for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: decent. Tons of options if you like sushi.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

Used to live on the Sunset side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
