Best apartments in Carmichael under ?

Hey folks, I work in media and You can expect to pay around $1,595 for rent here. Median household income is $84,376, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $541,500, which is pretty steep. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Would love some local perspective. TIA! It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Came here for work and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The walkability is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 14 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
