Alright, I'm originally from Tucson and The median home value here is around $541,500, which is pretty steep. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a HR manager who relocated here from LA about 3 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Close to major attractions
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Limited shopping options
Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are wild, gas is underrated.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is dating scene. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.
