Considering Carney vs Houston -help me decide

Hey folks, We have two kids and Household incomes average around $84,619 in Carney. Poverty rate is 7.9%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

The food scene here is surprisingly good. Tons of great Vietnamese places. it was the best decision I ever made.

Bought a house here in 2023 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Riverside area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
