Moving from Seattle to Carnot-Moon next month

Random thought, Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $95,777 in Carnot-Moon. Homes are going for about $256,600 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Portland about 1 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are competitive, gas is improving.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Hope this helps!.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The cost of living is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
