Is public transit usable in Carolina Forest?

So, Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $298,700 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Tampa about 3 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
