Things that make Carolina Forest unique

I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $298,700, which seems about average. Rent is about $1,567/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $70,647 in Carolina Forest. Poverty rate is 10.9%, which is around average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Growing food scene
- Easy commute
- Strong sense of community

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Not very walkable
- Poor road conditions
- Chain restaurants dominate
What would you do? Thanks for reading. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Definitely worth checking out..
