Hey everyone, I'm retired and Median household income is $35,843, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a mid-size city city with about 139K people. The unemployment rate is 6.3%, which is concerning. Poverty rate is 25.7%, which is higher than I expected. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I overthinking this? Cheers.
