Random thought, Rent is about $1,420/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Carpentersville sits at 55.6 per 100K. Household incomes average around $86,327 in Carpentersville. It's a a smaller city city with about 37,544 people. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Is this normal for Carpentersville? Appreciate any input. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
