Best areas to explore in Carrier Mills?
Hi all, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $50,269, which feels on the lower side for the area. Poverty rate is 19.5%, which is higher than I expected. Rent is about $525/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $57,300 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Has anyone dealt with this? TIA! It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
