Honest thoughts on life in Carroll

I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 10,261, Carroll is a small town. Homes are going for about $184,100 on average. Median household income is $59,323, which feels about average for the area. Rent is about $718/month for a decent place. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I wrong here? The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I've lived in Uptown for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Close to major attractions
- The public transit scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. No regrets on my end..
