Weekend activities in Carroll?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm retired and Crime rate is something to consider -Carroll sits at 92.1 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 10,261 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 14 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
