Carrollton quality of life -am I missing something?

Longtime lurker here, I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $283,100 on average. The median home value here is around $283,100, which seems about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,058 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to Minneapolis it's decent.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
