Pros and cons of Carrollton after 1 years

Curious what people think. It's a a mid-size city city with about 133K people. You can expect to pay around $1,674 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I wrong here?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 15 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
