What surprised you most about Carrollwood?

I'm single, late 30s, and Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. Median household income is $76,723, which feels about average for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Thoughts?

I work in real estate here and the quality of life is solid. The job market for my field is better than expected. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cost of living used to be much wild but now it's excellent.
