Best apartments in Carson under ?

Longtime lurker here, We're a young couple and It's a a smaller city city with about 93,523 people. Homes are going for about $645,600 on average. Median household income is $107,391, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Does this match your experience? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely challenging and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (Oak Park) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Miami, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.
