Best areas to explore in Carson?

Hello, I'm originally from Seattle and Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 6.3%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 93,523 people. The median home value here is around $645,600, which is pretty steep. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I wrong here? Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 14 years here, that's my honest assessment.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in North for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good internet infrastructure
- The housing market scene is improving

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. No regrets on my end..
