Is public transit usable in Carson?

Hey folks, I'm a 39-year-old marketing manager and Crime rate is something to consider -Carson sits at 482.9 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 93,523 people. Homes are going for about $645,600 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,914 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What do you all think? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Pine Hills. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in consulting. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
