Things Carson City needs to improve
Curious what people think. I'm retired and Rent is about $1,172/month for a decent place. With a population of 58,364, Carson City is a smaller city. Median household income is $71,809, which feels about average for the area. Poverty rate is 8.2%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
