Longtime lurker here, I'm a teacher here and Median household income is $87,553, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $370,200, which seems about average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. Would love some local perspective.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Tampa it's surprisingly good.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value traffic, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely decent and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
